We are a recognised RYA Training Centre and a BSAC Premier/Seamanship Centre based Weymouth Dorset, with our Dive Charter Boat ‘Waverider’ operating out from Portland Marina, Osprey Quay, Portland, Dorset DT5 1DX.
We are able to offer varied levels of diving to suit to your qualification from novice to the more experienced diver along the Jurassic Coast, we also provide RYA Powerboat Level 1 & 2 Courses, VHF Radio SRC courses, Essential Navigation, BSAC Diver Coxswain Preparation Workshops & Assessments, along with shore based courses; including Chartwork and Position Fixing, Oxygen Administration and First Aid for Divers.
'Waverider’ a Blyth 33 Catamaran which is MCA coded Cat 2 for up to 12 passengers plus crew, which make it an ideal stable platform, not just for divers, but also for bird and wildlife watching and great inspiration for artists and photographers...
Our other boat is ‘Typhoon’ a Ribcraft 7.8m RHIB powered by a Suzuki 250 outboard engine, which is MCA Coded Cat 3 for night passage and seating for 9 plus skipper, which make you extremely secure and comfortable, ideal for training.
’Typhoon’ is also ideally suited for smaller groups of divers, as the boat is fitted with a dive ladder and has removable seating to accommodate a stainless steel bottle rack and seating on the sponsons for up to 8 divers.
Typhoon is a dual aspect boat ideal for training, scenic trips along the Jurassic coastline and film work.
Typhoon is available for group and club hire with a dedicated skipper.
We run Portland Harbour wreck shuttles and trips to other dive sites like Black Hawk, British Inventor, Bat’s Head Reef, Hartlepool and Durdle Door.

We have a fully equipped classroom, including 65’ monitor, individual iPads for teaching use of Navionics charts, shore based Simrad Evo3S 12‘ GPS training unit and the smaller Lowrance HDS 5 chart plotter and Icom VHF Radio training sets, giving you the best opportunity to gain confidence, improve your knowledge and skills, so you can get more out of your diving, making it more safer and enjoyable.
